The energy summit scheduled for Jan. 14 in Batumi will be turned into the top-level energy conference, Georgia's foreign ministry press-service said.
The ministry is an organizer of the conference.
It was stressed that there were changes because the presidents will not participate in the summit.
Several Prime-Ministers and other high-ranking officials from 10 countries, including representatives from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Baltic countries, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan will participate in the summit.
Energy security, development of south Energy Corridor and other urgent issues will be discussed at the summit.
