In January-November, Azerbaijan imported about 58,200 cars, which is less by 28.3 percent than the same period of 2008, the State Statistics Committee said.
According to the statistics committee, in this period Azerbaijan imported cars amounted to about $ 414.1 million, which is less by 30.6 percent compared to 2008.
In January-November, Azerbaijan imported 5,589 units of trucks, which is less by 45.9 percent compared to 2008. The total cost of imported cars amounted to $85 million, which is less by 60.1 percent compared to 2008.
Moreover, during the report period the country imported 884 buses, which is less by 38.7 percent compared to 2008. In January-November the total cost of the imported compared to 2008 amounted to $ 43 million, which is less by 28.3 percent from January to November of 2008.
