The company reduced its staff by more than 919 people, including 47 staff members or by 15 percent - at the Corporate Center.
"The company reduced the number of departments from 42 to 36, management levels - from 8 to 6 and the number of managers - from 28 to 22," the company reported.
Moreover, the company reduced bonuses for executives for 2008-2009 and cut expenses on the labor payment fund in accordance with an optimized organizational structure.
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has entrusted the elimination of violations of personnel policies, identified during the audit of KazMunayGas. The relevant agencies established the working group to analyze the effectiveness of KMG personnel management. The company prepared proposals and measures together with the NWF Samruk-Kazyna and execution of this processes will be controlled by KMG head Kairgeldy Kabildin.
