German firm Blohm & Voss Repair discusses possible supply of equipment for offshore platforms to Azerbaijan, German Economy and Technology Ministry's Economic Cooperation with CIS countries Department Head Andreas Neuman said in Baku.
"Offshore oil production in the Caspian Sea is well developed from the Azerbaijani side. I think Blohm & Voss Repair has a good chance for cooperation in the supply of its technologies in Azerbaijan," he said.
The company has already held various talks in the country, he said.
Blohm & Voss Repair is a leading equipment manufacturer in Germany for pipeline operations in the oil and gas sector. It is engaged in exports of additional instruments for oil and gas industry manufactured in Germany.
