Management of Russian NizhnekamskNeftekhim plc on Friday paid a visit to Sumgait to establish a working relationships with Azerikimya Production Association, says a statement by SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) on Saturday.
As a result of discussions between the parties it was decided that Azerkimya and Nizhnekamskneftekhim will expand their partnerships year by year, increase the exchange of chemicals, provide mutual assistance in terms of technology and in training and exchange of personnel for achieving long-term development. After the meeting the parties signed the primary protocol.
NizhnekamskNeftekhim combines 10 chemical enterprises and produces over 100 kinds of chemical products, including synthetic rubber of general and special purpose, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, monomers which are raw material for rubber and plastics, as well as ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, surfactants and other petrochemical products.
