Azerbaijan produces over 21bln cubic meters of gas in Jan.-Oct.

In January-October 2011 Azerbaijan produced about 39 million tons of oil and condensate, which is 8.9 percent less than the same period of 2010, Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.

In total 50.83 million tons of oil was produced in Azerbaijan in 2010.
The bulk of oil production in 2010 fell to the block of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli offshore fields and gas condensate field Shah Deniz.

The bulk of oil last year was in the block oil and gas fields "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" and gas condensate field "Shah Deniz", which are developed jointly with foreign partners.

Gas production amounted to over 21.6 billion cubic meters in Azerbaijan in January-October, which is 2.5 percent less than the same period of 2010.

The country produced 26.23 billion cubic meters of gas in 2010, of which 16.67 billion fell to exports.

In January-October Azerbaijan produced approximately 16.04 billion kilowatt hours of electricity, which is 5.4 percent more than in January-October 2010.
