Kazakh National Company 'KazMunaiGas' and Vietnamese company Petrovietnam have signed a memorandum of understanding today, the national company told Trend on Tuesday.
According to the information, the memorandum was signed by the chairman of the KazMunaiGas' board, Lyazzat Kiinov and Petrovietnam corporation president Do Van Hau.
According to the company's official representative, both sides intend to develop cooperation in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons.
"The matter rests in exploration and production on the free onshore site in the Mangistau region," the company spokesperson said.
