Kazakhstan ups oil and gas production

Kazakhstan increased oil and gas condensate production by 1.3 percent to 13.449 million tons of oil in January-February 2013 compared to the same period of 2012

Kazakhstan increased oil and gas condensate production by 1.3 percent to 13.449 million tons of oil in January-February 2013 compared to the same period of 2012, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with the reference to the Kazakh Statistics Agency.

Crude oil production hit 11.304 million tons in this period (1.5 percent increase), gas condensate production - 2.145 million tons (0.2 percent decrease).

Gas production in the reporting period increased by 3.5 percent to 7.076 billion cubic meters.

Kazakhstan produced 410,200 tons of gasoline including jet fuel in January-February, 2013 (24.6 percent decrease compared to the same period of 2012).

Diesel fuel production increased by 10.1 percent to 767,700 tons, fuel oil production decreased by 11.4 percent to 606,200 tons, kerosene production fell by 15.2 percent to 44,100 tons.
