Caspian Pipeline Consortium ups export of CPC Blend oil

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) shipped 31.74 million tons of CPC Blend oil from Russia’s Yuzhnaya Ozereevka – 2 terminal in January-June 2017, as compared to 25.6 million tons in the same period of 2016, reads a message posted on the consortium’s website.

At month-end July 2017, 42 tankers with almost 4.47 million tons of crude oil were loaded at the Consortium Marine Terminal.

Based on submitted shipper nominations, the 2017 pumping target is 65 million tons. In particular, Kazakhstan shippers account for 54 million tons, including 11 million tons from Kashagan, and Russian shippers account for 11 million tons, including 5.4 million tons from the Filanovsky and Korchagin fields.

The consortium shipped 44.3 million tons of CPC Blend oil from Yuzhnaya Ozereevka – 2 terminal in 2016, as compared to 42.76 million tons in 2015.

CPC shareholders are Transneft (24 percent), KazMunaiGas (19 percent), Chevron (15 percent), LUKARCO (12.5 percent), Mobil Caspian Pipeline Company (7.5 percent), Rosneft Shell Caspian Ventures Ltd. (7.5 percent), CPC Company (7 percent), BG Overseas Holdings Limited (2 percent), Eni (2 percent), Kazakhstan Pipeline Ventures (1.75 percent) and Oryx Caspian Pipeline (1.75 percent).
