Turkey fines over 10 energy companies

Fifteen more energy companies have been fined in Turkey due to the sale of energy in a number of provinces of the country without obtaining a relevant license, Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) said in a message posted on its website Jan. 24.

According to EPDK, total volume of fines is 3.977 million Turkish liras.

The names of the fined companies have not been disclosed.

In total, 24 energy companies were fined due to the same reason in 2017.
