Gas condensates rank first among Iranian exports

According to foreign trade statistics of Iranian Customs Administration, Iran had a trade surplus of $1.698 billion in its foreign trade in the last Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), Trend reports referring to Fars News Agency.

According to the statistics, Iran's foreign trade amounted to 149 million tons of products worth $86.9 billion during the aforementioned period. The country’s non-oil exports amounted to 117 million tons of products worth $44.3 billion. Meanwhile, Iranian imports consisted of 32.4 million tons of products worth $42.6 billion.

The bulk of Iranian exports consisted of gas condensates worth $4.9 billion (11.14 percent), liquefied gas worth $1.92 billion (4.34 percent), liquefied propane worth $1.71 billion (3.86 percent), light oils and products excluding gasoline worth $1.45 billion (3.29 percent), and methanol worth $1.35 billion (3.05 percent).

It is reported that 31.93 percent of all Iranian exports consist of petrochemicals, while 11.14 percent consist of gas condensates and 56.93 percent of other products.
