Iran's Sepehr Energy Holding to export methanol

Iran’s Sepehr Energy Co. will export methanol produced in 3 projects, Rahim Sharif Mousavi, Executive Director of Iran's Sepehr Energy Holding, told the website of National Iranian Petrochemical Company (NIPC), Trend reports.

According to Sharif Mousavi, 80 percent progress has been made in the construction of the Sabalan Petrochemical Plant, a part of Sabalan Methanol Project.

Noting that 60 percent progress has been made in the construction of Dena Hamgam Methanol Company, Sharif Mousavi added that more than 40 percent progress has been made in the construction of the plant belonging to the Siraf Methanol Project.

"Sephir Enerji Holding has entered the sector to develop the petrochemical industry, and the progress that has been made with the programs so far is satisfactory," he said.

Sharif Mousavi added that the oil products of Sabalan Methanol Project (with 1,65 million tons of production capacity) will be put up for sale in Asaluyeh, with oil products of Siraf Methanol Project (with 1,65 million tons of production capacity) being put up for sale in Dayyer zone, and oil products of Dena Hamgam Methanol Company (with 1,65 million tons of production capacity) being put up for sale in Asaluyeh.

Sharif Mousavi also said that monopoly sales of products produced in the complexes owned by Sepehr Energy Holding will be organized.
