Gas production is projected to increase by 20 percent in Azerbaijan by the end of 2019, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said at the Caspian Oil and Gas conference in Baku, Trend reports.
According to him, gas production increased significantly in 2018, and this trend will continue in subsequent years.
Speaking of the company's foreign investments, Abdullayev added that SOCAR is the largest investor in Turkey. "As of today, we have invested $15 billion in the Turkish economy, and it is planned to increase this figure to $19.5 billion in the future," he said.
