Iran earns $150 million-$200 million weekly by selling gasoline at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), said Ali Hosseini, IRENEX managing director, Trend reports via IRIB.

He said that during the past 7 weeks, more than 100,000 tons of gasoline were put up for sale every week and all volumes were sold.

He added that 400,000-500,000 tons of gasoline, diesel fuel and liquefied gas are put up for sale every week at the IRENEX.

“Almost all of these products are sold, competition among customers arises at some sales, and this leads to an increase in the initial price,” he said.

By the end of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), the IRENEX plans to expand the varieties of products, increase volumes and export directions.

“Since the third decade of August, sales of 25,000 tons of white oil have started at the IRENEX and continue,” he said.
