Iran’s Aghajari Oil and Gas Production Company in Ahvaz city of Khuzestan province saved more than 300 billion rials (about $7.1 million), said Ebrahim Piramoon, the company’s managing director, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.
Piramoon noted that as a result of the efforts of the company’s employees, the turbo-pump equipment was repaired and put into operation.
The director added that the mentioned equipment was repaired by the company’s specialists for 1.5 years.
Last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019) the Solar Saturn turbine was repaired and commissioned by the company’s specialists, said Piramoon.
“In total, the company has saved more than 600 billion rials (about $14.2 million) as a result of the repair and commissioning of two turbines,” the director noted.
The US imposed sanctions on Iran in November 2018. Iran faced some problems with oil production, export and oil equipment as a result of the sanctions. Iran is taking steps to resolve the problems in oil sector.
Iran has the plans related to the oil production, oil refining and conversion of oil into finished products and not to export crude oil.
