Nearly 9.3 million tons of oil and gas condensate were produced in Azerbaijan from January through March 2020, which is 3.9 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing the report of the State Statistical Committee.
In 1Q2020, the volume of produced gas amounted 9.99 billion cubic meters, commercial gas production amounted to 6.9 billion cubic meters. On an annualized basis, these indicators increased by 10.1 percent and 15.3, respectively.
As of April 1, 2020, the stock of finished petroleum products amounted to 377,200 tons.
In 2019, 37.52 million tons of oil and gas condensate were produced in Azerbaijan, which is roughly equal to the indicator of 2018. The main volume of oil production in Azerbaijan falls on the block of Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) oil and gas fields.
The volume of gas production amounted to 35.59 billion cubic meters in 2019, commercial gas production – to 24.53 billion cubic meters.
