BP Petrolleri A.S. reduces liquid fuels’ sales in Turkey

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 29

BP Petrolleri A.S. in Turkey has imported 34,056 tons of diesel fuel in April 2020, as compared to 20,546 tons in the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

The company’s market share stood at 1.16 percent in April 2020, versus 0.57 percent in April 2019.

Export of jet fuel by BP Petrolleri A.S. stood at 46 tons in April 2020 with 0.01 percent market share. This is while in April 2019, the company exported 1,748 tons of jet fuel with market share of 0.15 percent.

As for domestic sales, bunker delivery by BP Petrolleri A.S. stood at 46 tons of jet fuel in April 2020.

This is while in April 2019, the company carried out bunker delivery of 110 tons of jet fuel in Turkey’s domestic market.

The bunker delivery of jet fuel by the company stood at 344 tons from January through April 2020, as compared to 10,600 tons in the same period of 2019.

BP Petrolleri A.S. sold a total of 118,253 tons of liquid fuels, including 11,488 tons of gasoline, 106,407 tons of diesel and 356 tons of fuel oil in Turkey’s domestic market in April 2020.

This is while in April 2019, the company sold 176,990 tons of liquid fuels in Turkey’s domestic market, including 21,830 tons of gasoline, 154,624 tons of diesel and 505 tons of fuel oil.
