Azerbaijan’s crude oil exports in Eni’s estimates

Azerbaijan’s crude oil exports have increased from 113,000 barrels per day in 2000 to 585,000 barrels per day in 2019, Trend reports with reference to Eni’s World Oil Review.

The country increased oil exports to 286,000 barrels per day in 2005 and 853,000 barrels per day in 2010.

Azerbaijan’s oil exports dropped again to 657,000 barrels per day in 2015 and 650,000 barrels per day in 2016.

The downward trend continued with 610,000 barrels per day in 2017, 606,000 barrels per day in 2018 and 585,000 barrels per day in 2019.

World crude and non-conventional oil exports stood at 45,049,000 barrels per day in 2019, as compared to 45,737,000 barrels per day in 2018.

Azerbaijan’s oil consumption has decreased from 106,000 barrels per day in 2000 to 104,000 barrels per day in 2019.

The country consumed 104,000 barrels per day in 2005, then lowering this figure to 74,000 barrels per day in 2010. The volume of consumption remained stable at 96,000 barrels per day in 2015 and 2016.

In 2017, the country increased oil consumption to 101,000 barrels per day. The upward trend continued in 2018 with 102,000 barrels per day and in 2019 with 104,000 barrels per day.
