Kazakhstan’s KazMunayGas pays out coupon on its international bonds

Kazakhstan’s KazMunayGas National Company has paid out the first coupon on its international bonds, Trend reports citing the company’s statement on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange.

The company has made payments worth $12.1 million on the XS2242422397 international bonds. The payment was carried out on Apr. 14, 2021,

The international bonds of KazMunayGas with the maturity of April 14, 2033, and a coupon rate of 3.5 percent were placed on October 14, 2020.

The volume of the issue is $750 million and the coupon rate is fixed.

On Apr. 7, 2021, the company’s KMG Eurobonds for a total amount of USD 6.250 billion have been included in the official list of Astana International Exchange since March 30, 2021.

KMG Eurobonds have been traded on AIX since March 31, 2021, under the ticker symbol (KMG) with settlements in USD.

KazMunayGas National Company (KMG) is the Kazakhstan operator for exploration, production, refining and transportation of hydrocarbons, representing the state interests in the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan.
