Azerbaijan exported 7,940 tons of crude oil to Turkey in the first 3 months of 2021, Trend reports on Apr.27 referring to Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
According to the committee, in value, the export of crude oil to Turkey in the reporting period amounted to over $2.7 million.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan exported a total of over 7 million tons of oil, which is 7 percent less compared to the same period of 2020. In monetary terms, the country’s oil exports amounted to over $2.6 billion, which is 24.3 percent less compared to the same period of 2020.
In 2020, Azerbaijan exported more than 12.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is 0.8 percent less than in the previous year. At the same time, the value of natural gas exports made up nearly $2.19 billion (an increase of 7.2 percent compared to 2019).
Last year, trade turnover between Turkey and Azerbaijan grew by $187.29 million compared to 2019 - up to $2.2 billion.
