Azerbaijan increased commercial gas production by 17.8 percent from January through February 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the committee natural gas production in Azerbaijan amounted to 7.6 billion cubic meters, including commercial gas - 6.01 billion cubic meters from January through February 2022.
Natural gas production increased by 12.4 percent at an annual rate.
Azerbaijan produced 5.465 million tons of crude oil, including condensate, of which 5.448 million tons fell on commercial oil during the reporting period. Azerbaijan reduced the production of crude oil, including condensate, by 6.2 percent at an annual rate.
Commercial oil production decreased by 6.4 percent.
Azerbaijan produced 34.58 million tons of crude oil in 2021, including condensate, of which 34.51 million tons were commercial oil. Natural gas production amounted to 43.8 billion cubic meters, including commercial gas - 32.5 billion cubic meters.
