BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 23. Revenues of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) from the sale of crude oil notably grew in 2021, Trend reports via SOCAR.

According to the company, this figure amounted to 42.06 billion manat ($24.74 billion), up by 59.2 percent on annual basis.

Revenues of the company from the sale of gas last year increased by 76.2 percent to 7.07 billion manat ($4.16 billion).

SOCAR is engaged in the exploration of oil and gas fields, the production, processing and transportation of oil, gas and gas condensate, the sale of oil and petrochemicals in the domestic and international markets, the supply of natural gas to industrial enterprises and the population of Azerbaijan, as well as Europe.

The company conducts various activities in countries such as Türkiye, Georgia, Romania, Switzerland, Germany and Ukraine, including trading activities mainly in Switzerland, Singapore and Nigeria.
