BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 12. This week has witnessed a significant uptick in oil prices, Trend reports.

The average price of Azeri Light crude oil on a CIF basis, hailing from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field in Azerbaijan, has taken a leap of $2.25 (2.87 percent) compared to last week, landing at a solid $80.5 per barrel. The highest price during the specified stretch hit $82.91 per barrel, while the lowest price dipped to $79.02 per barrel.

The Azeri Light crude oil price averaged $79.06 per barrel FOB in Türkiye's Ceyhan port this week, which is $1.94, or 2.52 percent, higher than last week. The highest price was $81.54 per barrel and the lowest was $77.61 per barrel.

The URALS crude oil price increased by $3.06 (4.85 percent) from last week to $66.21 per barrel. The peak price for URALS reached $68.24 per barrel and the minimum price reached $64.76 per barrel.

The Dated Brent benchmark crude oil price surged by $3.16, reflecting a robust increase of 4.16 percent, reaching an impressive $79.24 per barrel. The peak valuation for Dated Brent soared to $81.2 per barrel, whereas the lowest valuation registered at $77.67 per barrel.
