During January-June 2005, SOCAR shipped for export totally 6,700 tons of the liquefied gas, which is 2,600 tons more of the first half of 2004. In June 2,8 tons of butane has been exported, which is 0,9 tons more of May.

The Azerbaijani liquefied gas is produced at the catalytic cracking plant at the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery (former Azerneftyanajag). SOCAR has not exported liquefied gas for a long period this year due to repair works at the catalytic cracking plant.
