“Azerenerji JSC studies different versions of modernization of the Alibayramli
State District Power Station (SDPS),” Marlen Asgarov, the Vice-President of the Company, told Trend.
“The main devices and funds of the power station constructed in mid-20th century became out of date. Therefore, we consider reconstruction of the power station. We will make a decision on different versions of modernization, particularly, installation of steam gas devices,” he noted.
The productivity of the energy blocs considerably decreased as compared with the project one. The power station over-uses fuel. Production requires 500-600 grams fuel per 1 KW/Hour.
“We will start negotiations with finance organizations after determination of the version,” Asgarov stressed.
