The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) completed shipment of the straight-run petrol (naphta) to the Roc Oil trader, which bought 15,000 tons of this oil product at tender and which is produced by the Azerneftyag Oil Refinery. One tanker cargo of naphta has been already shipped from the Georgian port of Supsa, SOCAR, to which the Oil Refinery is a part, told Trend .
В"Shipment of the second batch of naphta we expect on 15-16 February from Poti, SOCAR told Trend.
The SOCAR spokesman said, further export sales of naphta will depend entirely on the demands of the Azerkimya State Concern, which uses this oil product as fuel for own facilities.
Since January 2006 powers of the Azerneftyag Oil Refinery to export own output independently to the world markets have been passed over to the SOCAR Marketing and Economic Operations Department (DMEO), which is also dealing with the sale of oil products from the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery and export of the Azerbaijan oil.
