In January 2006 the Heydar Aliyev oil refinery plant produced 6,500 tons of coke. It exceeds the forecast by 1,400 tons (27.5%), the SOCAR told Trend.
In December 2005 the output of coke made up 7,800 tons despite no production of oil coke was scheduled for December.
Last year the production of coke made up 11,630 tons, which is 18,970 tons low than the forecast (30,600 tons) for this period by and 14,260 than 2004.
Major consumer of oil coke produced in Azerbaijan is the Russian aluminum plant.
