SOCAR prepares for resumption of liquefied gas delivery, Rovnag Abdullayev

From 1 April the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant (ORP) will resume the work of catalytic cracking earlier installed for repair. All problems related to liquefied gas delivery will be fully solved after this, Trend reports quoting Rovnag Abdullayev, the President of SOCAR, as stating ANS TV channel.

In early March the plant resumed deliver of gasoline. Gasoline production will increase after installation of catalytic cracking.

In December SOCAR signed contract with Singaporean Petrofarm for delivery of 50,000 tons of gasoline in 2006. Oil product will be shipped by Petrofarm on FOB basis - pier 20, in the balance of Azerneftyag ORP. Petrofarm will transport gasoline to Iranian Neka port by tankers.

SOCAR also have contract on gasoline delivery from Georgian Saknaphtobtransi Company in 2006. 20,000 tons of gasoline is supposed to be transported to Company per month.
