During January-May oil and gas extraction units of PA Azneft of SOCAR produced 3,909,327 t of oil, down 0.7% over year, Trend reports.
The biggest production is for OEB May 28 that operates Guneshli field. 2,776,970t of oil have been produced at this field during the reported period, down 1.9% over year.
The lowest production was reported at Muradkhanli field. It gave only 15,200t of oil in January-June, down 0.7% over year.
Production by Amirov OGPU lagged from last year figure 4.3% and made up 39,932 tons. At present major efforts in the oil production are directed at maintenance of extraction of existing volumes of oil resources.
