SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) has announced a tender on selling the next year first tanker of oil consignment at a volume of 620 mln. barrels of oil from the Russian Port of Novorossiysk in January, 2007, a source in SOCAR told Trend.
The oil consignment is expected to be shipped on January 23-24, 2007. The results of the tender will be summed up on December 21, 2006.
In December, 2006, SOCAR has already sold two oil consignments from Novorossiysk - 1,080 mln. barrels and 620 thousand barrels of oil. Trader REOC Ltd. was the buyer of the both consignments.
In 2005, SOCAR shipped 1,631 mln. tons of oil from the Port at Novorossiysk. In 2004, this indicator was 2,559 mln. tons.
