SOCAR Announced Forecasts on Export of Diesel Fuel in January

In January, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) intends to export 120,000 tons of the diesel fuel in various directions, Trend reports with reference to the SOCAR.

Presently, three tankers with the diesel fuel, each with 4,300 tons, have been filled for Irnaian Company East Energy.

The oil products are loaded on base of FOB вЂ" berth N20 located in the balance of Azrneftyag Oil Refinery (part of SOCAR). Tankers of Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company deliver the benzene to Iranian Port of Neka.

In addition, the oil products are loaded for the consumers of the internal market of Georgia and for export via Poti Port.

In December 2006, SOCAR signed a contract with the Swiss Company Addax for sale of 300,000 tons of L-62 diesel fuel in 2007. According to the information obtained from the SOCAR, the oil products produced by Baku Oil Refinery will be loaded in the first half of 2007. The diesel will be sold via Georgian Ports of Poti and Batumi. In 2006, SOCAR exported 1.4 mln tons of the diesel fuel. In December, this figure equaled 125,800 tons.
