According to the order of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), the salaries of the SOCAR employees have been increased by 25% from 1 February 2007, Trend reports with reference to the SOCAR.
The decision was made jointly by the SOCAR and Republic Committee of Trade Union of Oil and Gas Workers.
Presently the number of the SOCAR employees equals nearly 6000.
