Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr S. Aghayeva / Vasili Istratov, the Ambassador of Russia to Azerbaijan, informed during a briefing March 6, that 12th regular meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia is to be held in Moscow, Russia, in April
The agenda of the forthcoming meeting is currently under development. The Committee is to consider a number of issues on bilateral cooperation.
According to the Ambassador, the goods turnover between the two countries increased in January, 2007. One-month turnover comprised $147.1mln, with the $107.2mln-worth import to Azerbaijan and $39,9mln-worth export.
The goods turnover between the countries remains satisfactory.
