Azerbaijan , Baku /corr Trend S.Aliyev / In February 2007, the Oil and Gas Production Union "Azerneft" of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 0,594bln tons of oil, a decrease of 1.8% in the same period of 2006, Trend reports.
In February the largest volume of gas production was achieved by OGPU "28 May" which develops the shallow part of the field "Guneshli" at 0,416 mln of oil, a decrease of 4.8% from the same period of last year.
The lowest gas production is observed on onshore field "Muradkhanli". Over this period 22,000 tons of oil was produced, at a reduction of 14.1% from last year.
