Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / In January to June 2007, Azerbaijan has produced 21,048,200 tons of oil, or 45.2% more than 2006..The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan announced that the dominating part of oil and gas production fell on Azerbaijani International Operating Company (AIOC), which produced 16.7mln tons of oil and 1.958.7bln cu m of gas. Some 79.3% of the total oil production and 43/8% of total gas production fell on AIOC.
The volume of gas production in Azerbaijan over the first half-year of 2007 made up 4.469.1bln cu m, or 32.9% more than similar period of 2006.
In January to June Azerbaijan produced 10.767.5bln Kw/h of electricity, or 9.5% lower than the last year volume.
