Following the results of test projects implemented by Azerbaijan's State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance on the introduction of compulsory medical insurance in the medical institutions subordinate to the agency, positive changes are observed in some districts, Trend reports referring to the agency's press service.
So, in Agdash district, the salaries of doctors and administrative staff increased by 2.5–3 times, while salaries of some medical staff members increased twofold.
According to the agency, residents who benefit from compulsory health insurance in Agdash are also pleased with the implementation of the system.
