Central Bank of Iran announces liquidity

The volume of liquidity in Iran amounted to 26.5 quadrillion rials (about $632 billion) at the end of the third month of the current Iranian year (May 20-June 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Central Bank of Iran.

According to the statistics, liquidity in Iran increased by 7.5 percent compared to the end of last Iranian year (March 19, 2020) and by 34.2 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.

“The amount of money in liquidity was 5.02 quadrillion rials (about $119 billion), and the amount of near-money was 21.5 quadrillion rials (about $513 billion),” the statistics said.

The amount of money increased by 17.5 percent compared to the end of last Iranian year and by 61.5 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year, according to the statistics.

"The amount of near-money increased by 5.4 percent compared to the end of last Iranian year, and by 29.1 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year," the statistics said.
