The resources of the Qarz Al-Hasaneh Mehr Iran Bank increased by more than 66 percent in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, through March 20, 2021), compared to the preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2019, through March 19, 2020), Trend reports citing the bank’s website.
According to the report, the bank's resources increased by about 200 trillion rials (about $4.76 billion) to about 500 trillion rials (about $11.9 billion).
“The bank's loans also increased in line with the increase in bank resources. So, Qarz Al-Hasaneh Mehr Iran Bank issued loans of more than 322 trillion rials (about $7.66 billion). These loans were issued on the basis of 2.3 million applications,” the report said.
The number of the bank's customers exceeded 10 million over last Iranian year. However, this bank started operating in 2007, the report said.
According to the statistics, the capital of the Qarz Al-Hasaneh Mehr Iran Bank also increased to 25 trillion rials (about $595 million) last Iranian year.
“The bank earned 7 trillion rials (about $166 million) in the last Iranian year,” the report.
