Liabilities of Azerbaijan's PASHA Bank grow as of 2Q2021

The total liabilities of Azerbaijan's leading corporate PASHA Bank increased by 23.6 percent as of the end of the second quarter of 2021 compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.

In accordance with the report, total liabilities reached 5.4 billion manat ($3.2 billion).

In the structure of liabilities, a big part (84 percent) accounted for deposits, excluding deposits of banks and other financial organizations, which amounted to 4.5 billion manat ($2.6 billion).

Deposits of banks and other financial institutions decreased for the year by 9.7 percent up to 299.7 million manat ($176.3 million), other liabilities amounted to 104.4 million manat ($61.4 million).

The bank's share capital in the reporting period increased by 6.5 percent, amounting to 354.5 million manat ($208.5 million).

Retained earnings amounted to 144.4 million manat $84.9 million (increase of 62.6 percent), general reserves - 45.7 million manat $26.9 million (an increase of 1.1 times).

The bank's total capital in the second quarter reached 544.6 million manat ($320.3 million) compared to 462.8 million manat ($272.2 million) in the same period of last year, increasing by 17.7 percent.
