BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 22. The loan portfolio for the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) projects in Azerbaijan was estimated at 881 million euros as of November 1, 2022, Trend reports via the EBRD.
The loan book is designed for the implementation of 32 projects.
A total of 90 percent (792 million euros) of the portfolio targets investing in sustainable infrastructure projects, seven percent (59 million euros) – in industry, trade, and agriculture, while three percent (31 million euros) – in financial institutions, the EBRD said.
Totally, the Bank has invested over 3.795 billion euros on 184 projects in Azerbaijan.
The EBRD is Azerbaijan's leading investor, that has been cooperating with the country since 1992.
