Azerbaijan, Baku, 16 January / corr. Trend I. Khalilova/ Ernst & Young and Omni, the International Auditor Consortium, completed the assesment of the Azerbaijan Government's participation share in the Azerbaijani and British joint venture- Azeurotel, which was assesed as AZN 6mln, Karam Hasanov, the head of the State Comittee on Privatizaztion said in a press conference on 16 January.
According to him, the Government's share in the company makes up 50%. In accordance with the experience of Government's share privatization in JV, the deal is first offered to the co-founder.
"But the talks have not been completed yet," Hasanov said.
Azeurotel JV was founded in 1995 by the Ministry of Communication of Azerbaijan (59%) and British LUKoil Europe ltd (50%). Azeurotel is the operator of the modern digital automatic telephone exchange of 492/497/437.
