CBA introduces e-statistical base

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) signed a contract this week with the Azerbaijani IT company Sinam to create an e-statistical base and analytical reporting system.

The CBA has already finished the project's second phase to introduce information systems to manage banking supervision. The project covers five phases.

The first two phases included introducing a reporting generation system, integrating the FinA system previously used at the bank, email archiving and management, and managing the archive. The company has already launched the third and fourth phases, which will end by late 2010.

The third phase includes opening an application where banking organization management is held. The fourth phase covers project system management, which is connected with the document circulation system. The fifth stage includes document circulation, and scanning and recognizing incoming documents.
