Azerbaijan is applying more than 10 of the existing 20 services in the sphere of e-government, Deputy Communications and IT Minister Elmir Velizade said today.
The main components of e-government have been already created and the possibility of their integration into a single platform is now being considered, he said.
According to Velizade, last year was successful for Azerbaijan in all economic sectors, including information and communications.
Azerbaijan adopted the state program "E-Azerbaijan" for 2010-2012.
Today, Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the implementation of e-government, which aims to promote the interaction of the government with citizens and the business sector. The services offered within this concept allow citizens to spend less time fulfilling certain tasks.
