The Small Entrepreneurship Development and Promotion Public Association will complete the work to update the e-commerce system sizinmarket.az in September, Association Head Agil Babayev told Trend.
Babayev saidwork is carried out by the Azerbaijani IT-company Terrasoft, which develops software.
"Work in this direction were to be completed in the first half of 2011, but due to insufficient funding and a number of technical problems, it was not finished on schedule, " Babayev said.
The work stipulate the update of advertising platform and a number of changes in the partner program. The program is a new partnership in AzNET where the partner acts as the intermediary between the buyer and the seller of goods or services and receives a commission for his or her services.
Initially, the sizinmarket.az e-trade project was launched with financial assistance from the Azerbaijani Presidential Fund for State Support to NGOs.
The project aims to support entrepreneurs through e-resources, creating virtual representations for companies and supporting e-commerce development. The future plans of the public association also include creating a mobile version of the portal.
