The mobile operator of Azerbaijan, Bakcell LLC, will demonstrate the 5G readiness, the company told Trend on Dec.5.
The advantages of 5G on the example of the work of the Internet will be demonstrated at the stand of the company within the framework of the 23rd Azerbaijan International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and Conference Bakutel 2017 scheduled for Dec.5-8.
"The 5G network has already been tested in more than 100 countries. The visitors of the stand will be able to clearly perceive the difference in speeds of 4G and 5G.The technology itself will appear after 2020. The market is not yet ready for this innovation and the umber of devices supporting the new standard are very few," the company said.
Bakcell LLC will also demonstrate high data transfer speeds (over 800 megabits) through the 4.5G network. Currently 4.5G Bakcell network has already been deployed in some parts of the capital.
