The number of queries from Azerbaijan's state organizations relating to computer security decreased by 27.3 percent to 173 in March 2018 compared to February 2018, the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) under the State Agency for Special Communications and Information Security of the Azerbaijani Special State Protection Service told Trend April 3.
In March, 85 percent of total requests were reviewed and addressed, said CERT.
Moreover, 14 reports were prepared and sent to relevant organizations in March based on CERT information security audits.
According to CERT, one domain and one sub-domain were registered in the Azerbaijani segment of the internet in March.
This is while the total number of queries from Azerbaijan's state organizations relating to computer security grew 66.8 percent to 704 in the first quarter of 2018 compared to the same period last year.
In the reporting period, 88.3 percent of total requests were reviewed and addressed.
Moreover, 70 reports were prepared and sent to relevant organizations in the reporting period based on CERT information security audits.
According to CERT, seven domains and four sub-domains were registered in the Azerbaijani segment of the internet in the first quarter of 2018.
