By Husein Valiyev - Trend:

Azerbaijan’s mobile health system technology will enter the market of African countries, the project's manager Shahlar Pashayev told Trend.

Presently, the system is being used in Burundi, while its expansion to the markets of Namibia and South Africa is expected in the future, he said.

"We see great potential and demand for similar technological solutions in the markets of African countries. Here, we mainly cooperate with state commercial structures that offer e-health services. Particularly, we have already launched the system in Burundi, where presently, only one station is being used. Their number will be increased in other medical institutions in the future. By late April, we plan to visit Namibia, where we will negotiate the application of the mobile health system technology with the Health Ministry," Pashayev said.

The goal of the mobile health system technology is to teach people a healthy lifestyle and allow to pass a checkup. The checkup results are sent to the e-mail address and to the mobile phone via SMS. The data of all checkups are automatically recorded in the user account at saglikliyasamadestek.com.

The user can see checkup results in the graphs. The statistics of the checkup results allows to take timely measures in advance to prevent possible health problems.

In case of necessity, recommendations are sent to a user upon need to see a doctor, to pass checkup or on which days he/she should be cautious, etc.

Technically, the system is based on a mobile health station and an Internet portal. Access to the portal allows to observe the current indicators, and also to compare them with the previous ones, which helps to eliminate possible risks, prevent them by taking the necessary measures.
