Youtube users’ activity increased by 4.2 percent in Azerbaijan in January-June 2018, according to Global Stats center.
As of June 30, 2018, YouTube’s market share was 35.8 percent. By popularity YouTube ranked the first in the Azerbaijani social media market leaving behind Facebook.
Facebook users’ activity in Azerbaijan decreased by nearly 14 percent in January-June 2018.
As of June 30, 2018, Facebook's share in the Azerbaijani social media market amounted to 31.7 percent, which is by 47.3 percent less than in the same period of 2017. By popularity Facebook ranks second in the Azerbaijani social media market.
By popularity Instagram ranks third with a market share of 12.5 percent. Instagram users’ activity increased by more than 2.3 times in January-June 2018.
Pinterest social network with a market share of 10.49 percent ranks fourth, followed by Twitter social network – 4.82 percent, VKontakte – 2.09 percent, Tumblr – 0.59 percent and others.
