A project has been prepared to provide trade services to the population through online stores in Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Watan newspaper.
The rules for the online sales of goods are developed in accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan in the field of protection of consumer rights and trading activities, as well as the legal regulation of the development of internet services and is agreed with relevant ministries and departments.
The functioning of online stores in the retail system will have a positive impact on improving the quality of services to the population, the formation of competitive market relations, the newspaper's report said.
The implementation of the Concept of Development of Digital Economy since the beginning of the year developed for the period until 2025, began in Turkmenistan.
The development represents a Road Map for technological transformation of all sectors and their public administration, the formation of a knowledge economy based on the country's resource and production potential.
