The volume of revenues of Azerbaijani mobile operators amounted to 546.6 million manat ($321.5 million) from January through March 2020, Trend reports citing the report of the State Statistical Committee on April 20.
In 1Q2020, cost of information and communication services in real terms increased by 21.1 percent compared to the same period of 2019.
According to the committee’s report, revenues of the mobile communications sector increased by almost 17.9 percent in the first quarter of 2020 compared with the same period of 2019. Some 71.7 percent of the total volume of provided information and communication services accounted for population. Herein, 79.8 percent of total revenues in the sector accounted for non-state enterprises.
In 2019, information and communication services worth over 2 billion manat ($1.1 billion) were provided to the population and organizations in Azerbaijan, which is 15.9 percent more compared to 2018.
